Alfred Henry Stewart
Alfred Henry Stewart was born on October 2, 1946, to the loving parents of Alfred and Ursule Stewart. Alfred married Linda on June 23, 1969. This marriage was blessed with loving children: a daughter, NiKeitaa N. Stewart, a son, Michael M. Stewart and a grand/son, JeCori T. Stewart, grandson, JeCobi T. Taylor, granddaughter, Lori E. Taylor, great-grandson, Jayce A. Stewart.
Alfred graduated from Sacred Heart School where he was a star basketball player. Alfred was a member of the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the church. He was a lettered basketball player and played on the baseball team. Alfred was a life guard and taught swimming lessons during the summers at Lincoln High School.
Alfred graduated from Houston Barber College, became a licensed barber. He owned and operated his Barbershop in Port Arthur, Texas. Alfred moved to Houston and worked at Anheuser Busch until his retirement in February 2009. Following retirement, Alfred became the CEO of J & J Stables. He had a passion for horses and extended stables to many. Alfred loved helping others and giving advice on how to do things that may have turned into a lecture 101. He was the magician of fixing and repairing things.
He celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary with his wife, Linda on June 23, 2019. He was so proud and told everyone months prior to the date that he was married fifty years.
Alfred Henry Stewart was called to his heavenly home on June 27, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Stewart and his mother, Ursule Stewart. He leaves his loving wife, Linda Stewart, his sister, Lillie Stewart, children, NiKeitaa Stewart, Michael Stewart, grandchildren, Je’Cori Stewart, Je’Cobi Taylor, Lori Taylor, and great-grandson, Jayce Stewart, host of family members and friends.
