Mr. Jimmy Wilson Obituary

Jimmy Earl Wilson was truly a carefree and genuine soul, willing to give his all at the drop of a dime. He was called home on November 3, 2019 while at Methodist Sugarland Hospital located in Houston, Texas at the age of 73.

His final days were spent enjoying the company of his closest friends and beloved ones. Jimmy was such a beautiful spirit, he spent his time uplifting the lives of those around him.

Jimmy was born on June 20, 1946, in Houston, Texas to Earnest Jr. and Sadie Wilson.

Jimmy attended BC Elmo High School. Jimmy was once married and fathered two children. He has one son Kenneth Earl Brown and later came along Tobey Michelle Wilson.

Jimmy spent most of his life working as the number one machinist at Cameron Iron Works where he later retired. Jimmy was very passionate about family and friends. He spent his free time hanging out with his best buddies and playing the lottery scratch-offs. Jimmy loved to watch the NFL and Gold as a favorite past time, he loved shopping for Derby and Fedora hats which were his all-time favorite clothing accessories. Anytime you saw Jimmy out and about he was a smooth clean-cut cat.

Jimmy Earl Wilson was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Burnett; father, Earnest Wilson; brother, Clarence Wilson Wilson and sister, Goria Marie Ellis.

He leaves to mourn in his passing: his son, Kenneth Earl Brown; daughter, Tobey Michelle Wilson; grandchildren, Xavier, Yasmin, Zachary, and LaJayda Brown, Demetrius, Damian, and Chyna Francis; sister, Carol Wilson; nieces, Chandra Wilson and Bianca Price; nephew, Derrick Ellis, and a host of relatives and friends.
