The Life of Leroy Cooper, Sr.
Leroy Cooper, Sr. also known as, "Peter" was born on February 14, 1952, to Lura Lee Whitehead and Lee Cooper.
Peter attended public schools and drove garbage trucks for several different companies. He also worked for Breenan Florist for many years as a driver.
He met and married Vera Williams and to their union, four children were born, Wayneen, LeRoy Cooper, and Tanesha.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lura Whitehead, father, Lee Cooper, two brothers, Alfred Henderson, and Edward Eason, granddaughter, Faith Hill and grandson, Charles Robinson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children Wayneen, LaRoy (Andre whom he loved dearly) and Tanesha; sister, Billie (Frank);
brother, Henry; nine grandchildren, Paul, Jr., Daileda, Destiny, Marqiese(Popsquallie), Christopher, Kiera, Cheldric, Teyana and Zyonana; great granddaughters, Jordyn, Paradise and L'land and a host of other relatives and friends.
