We pause today and bow in humble submission in memory of one so dear, whose life stood forth as a shining light for everyone to see. His kindness and gentle spirit will forever be remembered by us all.
Anthony was born on February 5, 1969, in Long Beach, California. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Abiding Love Church under the leadership of, Pastor Marcellus Bolden and continued to walk by faith throughout his life and served in many areas of ministry.
Anthony graduated from Garden Grove High School in Orange County, California, Class of 1988. After high school, he was employed by MRC Global until his passing.
Anthony J. Woodward met Paula in 1991 and a few months later, on July 26, 1992, they married. They shared 29 years of marriage together. Together they raised and cared for their two children Whitney and Jordan. He loved spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, traveling, smoking cigars and watching his Los Angeles Dodgers play.
With sorrow among all, Mr. Anthony “Tony” Woodward made the transition to receive his crown of righteousness on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Those that went before him and await his arrival on the other side is his wife Paula Thomas Woodward.
Left to cherish the life, love, and memory that he shared with all are a daughter Whitney Mackey (Terrance) and son Jordan Woodward (Macy); one brother Marc Woodward., four grandchildren Kyndall, Terrance II, Ethan Paul, and Kamille. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, and dear friends that will truly miss his presence.
