             Blanchard O.B. Lomax Sr.

 

On the third day of August 1927, a beautiful baby boy was born to Valree & Odell Lomax. His name was Blanchard O.B. Lomax. Blanchard grew up in, Latexo, TX, with his grandmother, Indianna Kizzee. Attended Terrell I.S.D, from there he enlisted into the U.S Air Force. After service in the U.S Air Force, he attended Texas State (Now known as Texas Southern University) and studied communication. At an early age, he developed lifelong hobbies of Fishing & Racing Sports Cars. He later was employed in the construction business for many years until retirement. He was an avid reader of the Holy Bible, Newspaper and Magazines of different genres. He was an active member of Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church until his health failed. One of his true joys was spending time with family and friends. Blanchard O.B. Lomax Sr departed this life on Tuesday, Nov.12th 2019. Proceeded by his parents; Valree & Odell Lomax, grandmother-Indianna Kizzee, sister-Renabell, brother-Robert, spouses-Bennie Mae Lomax, Wilene Lomax, & Sadie Slayton-Lomax, son-Blanchard O B (Bobby) Lomax Jr, daughters- Ernestine Lomax & Sheila Lomax Braggs. He leaves to cherish his memories, Son-Carl (Trina), Daughter’s-Ella Jean (Andrew), Regina, Linda(Geary), Valree(Ronnie), beautiful bonus children-Tina Washington(Eddie), Pamela Poole & Graylon Slayton(Felecia). He also leaves his grandchildren; Bobby G(Sierra), Wanda R(Michael), Ursula(Quinten), Johnette, Rudy Jr(Tomikka), Sean(Yvette), Crystal(Abraham), Mone’t, Christopher, Ronnie Jr, Joshua, Tiffany, Nicole, Jeremy, Toni & Galen As a result of amazing grandchildren, he leaves a football team of Great Grands and Great Great Grandchildren, as well, other Relatives & Friends.
