Bobby Joe Dade was born on October 6, 1950, in Arcola, Texas to the late
Hilliard and Emma Dade. He was 1 of 9 children conceive during this
marriage.
Bobby gave his life to God and was baptized at an early age and then
baptized again in his adult life by Pastor C. Perry Jr. Bobby’s faith in God
increase and he was Ordained as a deacon at Little Zion Baptist Church. He
actively participated in various ministries including the choir, assisted in the
Baptizing Ministry and was a part of the Bible Verse quote ministry.
Bobby’s education started at Jake Dove Elementary School, Dulles Middle
School and he graduated from Dulles High School. He was an “A” student
and a great basketball player who won several championships awards at
Dulles. He also studied at HCC. Over the years Bobby worked in a variety of
fields such as Brinks armor truck, Fort Bend ISD and Houston Independent
School District.
Bobby found the love of his life, Linda and they married on July 27, 1974,
and he remained a devoted husband for 50 years. Through their marriage
they were blessed with three children from this union. Curtis Ray Robinson,
Sharita Chenier (Rita) and Latasha Bowen (Tickey). Being surrounded by his
wife and children added to the love he had for his family.
Bobby Dade departed this life peacefully on May 21, 2025. He is preceded in
death by his children Curtis Ray and Sharita Chenier.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his five grandchildren and one great
granddaughter, Moneisha Watts, Houston D. Bowen. Jr., Krystal Chenier,
Craig Chenier, Austin Bowen and one great granddaughter, Tytiana Watts,
his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members
and cherished friends.
