David Paul Jackson, Sr. was born on August 13, 1961, to Stanley and Clara Jackson. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School 1979, he immediately joined the Air Force, where he enlisted in intelligence specialist. Following his military service, he attended Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ, graduating with a degree in computer science.
On December 5, 2021, David married Jennifer Ellis, and they were blessed with two children David P. Jackson II and Jasmine C. Jackson. A man of deep devotion, David was passionately committed to building a loving God centered home.
In 2001, David publicly declared his faith through baptism alongside his son, David Paul Jackson. As devoted members of the Triumph of Life Church in Asbury Park, David also served the congregation as the worship team's pianist.
David was a seasoned software engineer with a deep-rooted passion for technology. During his impactful tenure at Continental Airlines, his expertise took him across the globe, collaborating on tech initiatives spanning the United States and numerous international destinations.
He was an avid technology enthusiast that wasn't just a consumer of tech; he was an active explorer. He embraced the digital age with a passion, driven by an innate need to understand how the tools he loved actually worked.
He was a die-hard Lakers fan who wasn't afraid to let the TV know how he felt. His hearty laugh filled the room at every family gathering simply because he was happiest in the company of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Joseph Jackson, Sr., and Mother Clara Jackson, brother Stanley Joseph Jackson Jr., and his sisters Carol Jackson, Gertrude Irene Jackson, and Susan Jackson.
He leaves behind to share wonderful memories: his on, David Paul Jackson II (wife Krystle Jackson), daughter Jasmine C. Jackson, close friend and former wife Jennifer Ellis-Jackson, granddaughter Kennedy Howard, grandson Krystian Don Paul Jackson, Gabrielle Nixon, Eric Wyatt, and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him profoundly.
