Mr. Douglas Scott Obituary

Douglas Edward Scott was born on October 16, 1955. He was the
son of Wilson Scott Sr. and Juanita Holmes Scott in Houston.
Douglas attended school in the HISD system. In Jr, High
School he was on the swim team at Crispus Attucks where he
got the nickname “Duck” Upon graduating from Sterling High
School he enlisted into the Marine Corp for 2 yrs. After the
Marine Corp he worked at Hughes Tool Co. for 2 yrs. Then he
enlisted in the Army for 4yrs. After being honorably
discharged from the Army he stayed in El Paso. He moved
back to Houston to take care his mom until her death in 2023
at 100 yrs. Douglas was well known on Woodgreen Street in
South Park where in grew up. Douglas was called home on
August 24, 2025, and preceded by his parents Wilson and
Juanita Scott, 3 sisters (Anita, Georgia, Effie) and one brother
(Woodrow “Rat”) and leaves the following relatives behind to
mourn his passing: Daughter Bianca, Brother Jimmy Scott
(Linda) , 2 nephews , 3 nieces, 6 great nephews, 5 great nieces,
1 great great niece. and many aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and
friends, a special thanks to Douglas’s girlfriend of many years
Ms. Leslie Robinson who was all ways there when he needed
her right up to the end.
