Mr. Earnest Ferguson

Earnest Ferguson was born to Lewis and Gertrude Ferguson on December 19, 1946, in Houston, TX. Earnest had several siblings; those who preceded him in death- were Leon, Georgia, Lawrence, and Ella. The remaining siblings are Anita, Ruth, Ruby, and Ethel. Earnest was baptized at Riceville Baptist Church, where he was in attendance most of his adult life.
He obtained his GED and excelled at his work for the City of Houston Waste Water Department for 23 year's as a supervisor.
Earnest married Shirley Hurd and, they shared 3 children; Donald, Ronald (Jill), and Tonya Ferguson. Both Donald and Tonya preceded Earnest in death. Earnest married Evelyn Whitfield and shared one child, Alicia Whitfield-Ferguson.
Earnest had 7 grandchildren. Tierra, Juliana, Kelsey, Brianna; Taya, Delah and Aidén; and 2 great- grandchildren Kerley and Zane. Earnest's memory will be forever cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
