Mr. Eugene Perkins

Mr. Eugene Perkins (Jack), of Arcola, Texas passed away on February 5, 2019, at the age of 74.

 Eugene was born to parents Frank Perkins and Mary Lee Perkins on August 4, 1944, in Fort Bend County (Howden), Texas. He grew up as the eighth of thirteen children and attended A.W. Jackson High School in Rosenberg, Texas. Eugene dedicated his life to God at an early age under the direction of Reverend Williams at New St. Phillip Baptist Church. Eugene spent several years at Diamond Paint Company and various other organizations.

 Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary; his sister, Alice Mae Perkins-Jackson; and his brothers, Otis, Andrew, Frank Jr., Fred, Clarence, Allen, and Billy Ray Perkins.

Eugene is survived by sisters, Lois Mae Warren (Chick), Betty Ann Woods (Gladys), Minnie McCruse; her husband Jerry McCruse, Sr., brother Charles Edward Posley and nephew Edward Perkins whom he loved like a brother, and a host of family, and friends.
