Mr. Reginald Noris Obituary

Life Reflections
Reginald Ramone Noris (BKA) Reggie. Reggie was born on April 11, 1962 to the union of his parents Bill
Hunter and Lillie Noris. He was born at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and was reared and raised
in East St. Louis, Illinois. Reggie was the seventh child and was the “baby” of the family. He was
preceded in death by his parents, his special first niece Sherrell Patrice Murdock and his sister Bettye
Coffey. Reggie professed his faith in Christ at an early age while attending Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in
East St. Louis, Illinois. Reggie attended public schools in the East St. Louis School District 189 and was an
honor student and Drum Major at East St. Louis Senior High School. After graduation he attended
Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Illinois where he began studies in Electrical Engineering and
completed his degree in Computer Information Programming. While in college he worked at John Logan
College in Carterville, Illinois as a Computer Laboratory Technician. After graduating from college, he
moved to Houston, Texas and was employed by Houston Independent School District where he held
several positions during his time there as an Inventory Control Specialist, Customer Service
Representative and Associate Help Desk Analyst. He later worked part time for the Houston Community
College System as a Computer Technician, and for Verizon Wireless as a Technical Support Coordinator.
He was most recently employed with ABM Industries where he served as the VIP Deskside Support
Representative. Reggie had a wealth of knowledge in computers. He received his A+ Certification from
CompTIA and was a Dell Certified Systems Expert. He loved his job and his co-workers. His last day at
ABM Industries was December 17, 2022 and on December 18, 2022 he was called to his Eternal home.
Reggie never married or had any children. He would always say his nieces and nephews were his
children. He treated them all as if they were his own. Reggie loved his family and opened his home as
the central meeting place for all family social events. He was the self-designated family photographer as
it was important to him to capture and preserve our times together. Reggie’s memories will be
cherished by his siblings. He is survived by his three sisters – Marcella (Waldo(D)) Dotts and Vivian
(Larry(D)) Clark in Houston, Tx and Barbara (Michael) Kimbrough in Ocoee, Florida, two brothers –
Buford (Debra) Noris in Houston, Tx and Henry (Toni) Noris in Virginia Beach, Va., brother-in-law Kent
Coffey, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends and a special friend Ms. Elva Garza.
We the family are deeply grateful for your words of comfort, cards, prayers, visits, calls and concerns
shown during our time of sorrow, And all that has been done to assist us in this time of bereavement is
highly appreciated. May God continue to Bless and Keep all of you. We ask that you continue to keep
us in your prayers. In God’s Love, we thank you!
