With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we share that Willie “Bill” Earl Foley passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2026, at the age of 83. For most of his life, he was surrounded by those who loved him most.
Willie was born on November 26th, 1942, in Tyler, Texas. From the very beginning, he brought resilience, integrity, and a strength that could be felt in every room he entered. But above all, he brought laughter and light—whether through his quick wit or his infectious sense of humor. Throughout his life, he was known not just for his courage and support, but for the gentleness of his heart that made everyone around him feel valued, safe, and understood. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for, always ready to offer advice, a hug, or a well-timed joke to brighten your day.
Willie found joy in simple things—fishing by the water, playing dominos with his friends, and the thrill of a good game of poker . But his happiest moments were always spent with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and memories. To know Willie was to feel a sense of warmth and unconditional support. His presence was comforting, his love unwavering, and his loyalty immeasurable. He made sure that no one in his life ever felt alone.
He is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his wife of 36 years, Carrie Foley; his children, Sametria Jones (Christopher Jones) and Charles Warren Jr. (Latoria Warren); his 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; his goddaughter, Shanna Foley; his siblings, Gerald Foley, Mary Manning (Joe Manning), Minnie Mae Foley ; and many more who were blessed to know him.
He is reunited in peace with his mother Gerty Foley, his father Connie Mac Foley Sr., and his brother Connie Mac Foley Jr.
On January 17th, 2026, we will gather to celebrate the life of Willie “Bill” Earl Foley. Family and friends will come together to honor a man who made an impact on so many lives with his gentle heart, humor, and unwavering love.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we will carry Willie with us—in our memories, in our laughter, and in the love and support he gave so freely. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, resilience, and love that will live on in each of us. His spirit will forever be a part of our hearts.
