Mrs. Carolyn Crowell

Carolyn Marie Batiste was born June 14th, 1960 in Houston, Texas at Jefferson Davis Hospital to Ms. Juanita Adams Batiste and Mr. Vestor Lee. She grew up in the Heights area of Houston. She attended 8th Avenue Elementary, Hogg Middle School, and Reagan High School

Carolyn was a devoted and proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. After obtaining her associate degree from Houston Community College, she was employed at the University of Houston Main Campus for 25 years. Being a god fearing, selfless woman who took care of her family and business.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Batiste; Brothers, Freddie Batiste and Terry Batiste, and Sister, Helen Batiste.

She is survived by Her Husband, Marion Crowelt her sons, Freddie Batiste and Raffaele Batiste grand-daughters Ashari Batiste, Ta'Neisseya Smith Batiste, and Skylar Batiste grandsons: Daniel Batiste, Xiavies Smith Batiste, ZoRyan Batiste, De'Aaron Batiste, and Kamyon Batiste great- granddaughter, Dakoda Batiste, Daughter-in-law, Simone Batister Sister, Jaunita Freeman; Nieces, Dujana Batiste Hill and Peggy Yancy, Nephews, Richard Earl Batiste Il and Oneil Bradshaw, along with a host of great and great great nieces and nephews close friends, and colleagues.
