Charolette was born on September 11, 1970, to Rosa Watson and Willie Marshall, she entered the world with a light that would go on to touch so many lives. She was a woman whose heart was rooted deeply in love-love for her family, her children, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She carried a naturally bubbly personality that could brighten any room. Her laughter was infectious, her smile comforting, and her presence unforgettable. She had a gentle, loving spirit that made people feel seen, valued, and at home. Whether through a kind word, a warm embrace, or simply her presence, she had a way of lifting others up without even trying.
As a devoted wife to Clemmie Francis, she exemplified partnership, loyalty, and quiet strength. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and resilience.
Her greatest pride and deepest joy were her children-Tella, Darrin, Jarick, and Raven. She loved them fiercely and unconditionally, always placing their needs above her own. She was their protector, their encouragement, their safe place, and their biggest supporter.
She was also a cherished sister to Warren, Herbert, and Maria, holding close the bonds of family throughout her life.
As a grandmother, she was adoring, nurturing, and endlessly proud. Her five grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured into them the same love, care, and warmth that defined her as a mother.
She also carried in her heart the memory of her beloved nephew, Ferris, who passed before her. Their bond was one of deep love, and while she now joins him in eternal rest, their connection remains a part of her story and legacy.
What made her truly special was her ability to love without limits. She gave of herself freely-her time, her energy, her heart. She found joy in the simple moments, strength in the hardest ones, and never stopped showing up for the people she loved.
Her legacy is one of love, resilience, kindness, and family. It lives on in her children, her grandchildren, and in every life she touched. She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel-loved, supported, and never alone.
Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will continue to guide, comfort, and live within all who knew her.
