Mrs. Vesterie Wardell

Vesterie Johnson Wardell was born on March 10, 1923, in Houston, Texas to Hassie Thomas and Cora Addison. Vesterie worked for the Letzerich family, whom she shared a special bond with until she retired. Vesterie was a matriarch in her family who enjoyed visitors. Vesterie is proceeded in death by her parents Hassie Thomas and Cora Addison; son Elsworth Johnson Jr; three sisters Thelma Lee Phillips, Rosetta Jewel Texas, and Hartense Ellis.

Vesterie received Christ at an early age and was faithful in reading her Bible every morning and night. Vesterie leaves to cherish memories with a very special nephew Clarence “Poppa” Davidson. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
