Mrs. Ying Li

Ying Li was a wonderful and loving mom, wife, and grandmother. She fought pancreatic cancer for almost ten years. She passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 75. Ying was a very good student - after she graduated from college, she became a very good teacher. Her teaching career spanned more than 40 years. She taught so many students and touched their lives. Ying achieved her life dream of teaching.

At home, she respected her parents and lovingly took care of her two daughters and extended family. Ying showed her kindness and love to everyone she met - she fought cancer for almost ten years. After receiving her cancer diagnosis, she fought her illness with strength and courage. Her husband and daughter's family also lovingly helped her fight the battle of her life. She fought pancreatic cancer for almost a decade - most people with pancreatic cancer only survive a few years. Ying was such a fighter and she'll always be in our hearts. She is survived by her husband and her daughter's family (son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren). Because of COVID-19, we will be doing a private family ceremony.

We will miss her smile, sense of humor, and strength. God bless you Ying Li - your memories will be forever etched in our hearts. You always looked after us. Now it is time for us to look after you. We look at heaven and see your soul smiling down at us. Good bye Ying - you will be forever missed and cherished.

    我们怀着沉痛的心情哀悼：我们共同的亲人-李英，在于癌症顽强抗争近十年后，于2021年1月24日病逝，享年七十五岁。
    李英在学生时代是一名优秀学生，大学毕业工作后是一名优秀教师。她从教四十余年，教书育人桃李满天下，成就了她光辉灿烂的一生。
    李英在家中孝敬父母、怜兄（姐）爱弟（妹）、相夫教子、关爱子侄，对亲人展示了她为人善良，充满亲情爱心的优秀品质。
    李英在与癌症病魔抗争的十年中，她以顽强的毅力忍受着疾病的折磨，积极配合医生的治疗，坚持锻炼身体，打破了胰腺癌病人五年生存期不到5%的记录，创造了生存期近十年的奇迹，展现了她顽强拼搏的性格品质，我们大家永远怀念她！
    由于身处大洋彼岸的休斯敦，又有新冠肺炎疫情肆虐，中美均禁止人员聚集，故此我们只能以家庭现有人员向她告别，然后安葬在休斯敦纪念陵园墓地。
    告别时间：2021.1.27下午3:30（北京时间1.28 晨5:30）在民众礼仪公司告别室。
    安葬时间：2021.1.28上午10:00（北京时间1.29 晨0:00）在休斯敦纪念陵园。
    望各位亲友届时为她祈祷祝福，愿她一路走好，在天堂安息吧！
