Ms. Roshonda D. Meadows

Roshonda Meadows was born on December 1, 1976 to Jackolyn and James Meadows. Born and raised in Houston, she accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She was a graduate of Jones High School. As an adult, Roshonda's passion was children, and she helped to raise more than twenty children. Roshonda enjoyed spending time with family and cooking meals, including her famous burritos. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her two children, La'Erica and Rontrell. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Jackolyn Meadows, and her Aunt, Evelyn Bedford. She leaves to mourn her two children, La’Erica Lighten and Rontrell Meadows; two brothers, Maurice Meadows (LaKesha), and Matthew Johnson; two sisters, Cynthia Johnson and Yolanda Bedford-Moore (John); a sister-in-law, Melissa Smith; a nephew, Mason Meadows, two nieces, Allexis Hays and Jackolyn Meadows; a great niece, Amaya; four Godchildren, La’Ravin Ifendu, Anaja Lizcano, K’Jah Lizcano, King Nobles and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
